surfer99's Bio
Born and raised in California over 30 years ago. Moved to Arizona 12 years ago, cause I can take the heat! I have a loving wife and two great kids. We have two dogs, a cat, about a dozen fish, a bunny and a corn snake (yeah, we like pets). I am a born again Christian (as canned as that term has become) and I live my life by two principles- love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself (first one's easy, it's that second one that can be challenging). Romans 1:16

When it comes to collecting comics I am primarily focused on high grade Bronze Age appearances of the X-men and Silver Surfer, with a little Punisher thrown in for good measure.

Little known fact: Wizard Magazine #70 (June 1997) ranked the Top 10 Toughest Superheroes of all time out of all publishers combined. Wizard backed up their findings by explaining in detail how each hero would take down the others before them in the rankings. Rank #1? The Silver Surfer. Nuff said!
