Owner's Description
It's like sighting a unicorn! The first time I've ever held this issue in my hands, and it's mine!
August 1975, OW/W Pages. However, I'd have to say the pages look OK to me from the edges, and the cover is quite nice and bright.
Specifics on the visible defects: CGC's only grader note reads "lite bend back cover top left corner." I see it, and there are 3-4 minute color-breaking spine ticks, as well as a very light bend along the top edge of the front cover. But the book presents so nicely, the whites are WHITE, little to no translucency, and pretty well-centered. Corners look pretty good as well! The book is NOT pressed, and I don't think I'm going to try going for a 9.6 with that many spine ticks.
About the comic: As you're likely aware, this is the second appearance of most of the new X-Men. Len Wein and Chris Claremont co-wrote, and Dave Cockrum and Bob McLeod penciled/inked. Awesome Gil Kane/Dave Cockrum cover!
