1st appearance of Punchline. The Joker Girl of clowness that is Jealous material for the ever so stricken prince of crime. Bare essentials, confessing in written form and out in the rain, this bad girl has a cracked brain! I was so focused on older loved books, that I came back as to not neglect the moderns. The 1st of the Punchline, and that can be a substantial effort toward completing the consecutive appearances. The motive, at this time is unclear. She will need some character building and a few good stories under the belt before any progression is made. The clarity that will come, I hope, is when I will look back on these early issues with fondness. Maybe a new animated series is in order! This particular issue was quick to be slabbed by a lot of people, and is a 9.8 or bust addition, in my opinion. I don't always have that view, as my collection shows, but I'm happy to break the piggy bank every once in a while. I love the idea of the name Punchline. It fits. It works. It better deliver some laughs to live up to the build up!
Complete with a poster that was hanging up at the Local Comic Shop of the 2nd full appearance and 1st cover appearance. I asked for it to take home, and they obliged to give it to me for free! Got to love the free merchandise when you are a regular spending money. Making those connections for the win, and the poster is also the artist Artgerm's art! It compliments this set very well! Hanging in my comic room, half wall and half ceiling!
