The Punisher "KILLS" the Marvel Universe at the time in 1995! He's on a mountain of bodies, good or bad, the Punisher is coming for them! A must read and very titillating series! Big in the registry, the title alone makes it collectable. Who was alive back then that didn't hear about this book, and all who heard found it titillating to be sure. With the back cover skull, this was so "in", and they've since tried to do the same thing with Deadpool. The Punisher is usually serious, way to serious. Deadpool has a hard time being "taken seriously", so which do you pick? With John Bernthal, it's easy. Ryan Reynolds is perfectly cast and Bernthal is finding his stride. Take it to the bank! That classic punisher logo on the back cover is a nice touch as well. Many shirts over the years bearing that symbol, with some more sought after than others. I'll admit to owning a few myself!
In short, too good a back cover picture to replace with something else, it looks good on its own!
