Spectacular Spider-Man #1-#263

Story: "The Osborn Legacy" (1st Printing)

Giant-Sized 30th Anniversary Special Issue. Silver hologram cover. Script by J.M. DeMatteis. Pencils and Inks by Sal Buscema. Harry Osborn has battled psychological problems his entire adult life, but this time he has really gone off the deep end! The Green Goblin kidnaps his wife, son, and brother-in-law (aka the Molten Man) and takes the trio to his fathers old house in the suburbs. For the first time Harry wears the goblin costume in front of his young son. However, Normie doesn’t seems to understand the gravity or depravity of the situation and enjoys his fathers ranting and raving while the family sits down for dinner! Fortunately, the goblins diatribe buys the web-slinger time to track down his green and purple foe! And with help from the Molten Man, the Amazing Spider-Man battles the Green Goblin one more time! Second Story: The Night the World Died Script by J.M. DeMatteis. Pencils and Inks by Bob McLeod. Aunt May still has nightmares about the night her husband, Ben Parker, was killed. But her recent encounter with Spider-Man (during the ordeal with the Vulture) has surprisingly brought her comfort. (Notes: This issue includes a fold out poster by Charles Vess featuring Spider-Man and the Hobgoblin. The second printing has a gold hologram cover and was published in November 1992.) 48 pages Cover price $2.95.
