AUSTRALIAN PRICE VARIANT! Wraparound cover. Indicia reads 8/92 $2.00 cover price. Given to me by gracious boardie, punisherpunisherpunisher, Chad visiting from Australia 2023. Sent it in straight away, and there will be more in other series to send. I'm super happy for such a common issue to have a rare variant, as it scratches that niche itch! A very complimentary type of wraparound of a cover that displays the Newsstand nicely. Glad to have some friends, and encouragement to blessed and to be a blessing I pray! Those are the kinds of things that don't come easy, but we had a blast searching the LCS and making use of the time bin diving. Glad Cable and the X-force can show a memento from the Australian visit! I used to think "Shatterstar" was the coolest looking character, and who could blame Liefeld for pushing the envelope, and it is probably where he got the ideas for the pouches! That really fit the era though, art in a new direction: good or bad.
Wraparound Covers may seem extensive in my collection, but they had the 90's charm, and I would say most are without all the foil or process of "manufactured collectables!" They were a style all their own and made many a comic fan want to grab off the stands for a quick, "ooh and awe."
