Owner's Description

Star Wars 25: Siege at Yavin!

Writer: Archie Goodwin, Penciller: Carmine Infantino, Inker: Gene Day, Cover artist: Carmine Infantino and Bob Wiacek.

Signed by Bob Wiacek on 10/11/13.

Looking back at the original Marvel Star Wars, it was amazing how many issues the rebels remained at the Yavin Base after destroying the 1st Death Star at the Battle of Yavin. This led me to consider the total amount of story time to occur between issues 7 to 37 to only be equivalent to about one month of the old Expanded Universe continuity. This issue depicted the Empire at least sending TIE fighters to hide out in atmosphere of the giant gas planet of Yavin (rather than the Jungle fourth moon of Yavin - where the Rebel base was still located).
