Contains solid interviews with Ed Brubaker, Bryan Hitch and Paul Jenkins (for his work on the Theater of War 1-shots), as well as some highlights from Cap's comic history (ie. picking up Thor's hammer!) and moments with US Presidents in comics (I can't believe they left out Bill Clinton, who was in Captain America #450-453). I really enjoyed reading the interviews with Brubaker and Hitch, both of which have contributed largely to Captain America's modern interpretation, one with writing, the other with artwork. It was also neat to see them mention anticipation and their eagerness/willingness to work on the Cap movie, due in a couple years.
Personal Note
This is a book that was under everyone's radar. Comic book stores either didn't order any at all, or ordered 2 or 3 copies. I've seen numerous copies of this book in my quest for a strict MINT, but what you see before you is the best I could find. This 9.6 copy here, when compared to the rest of the print run, is actually a contender for a 9.8. This is a case where I will settle for a 9.6, unless someone somewhere out there has something better for me. I'm also a little confused why this is Marvel Spotlight #4, whereas the other Captain America Spotlight is a #nn.
