The exciting first issue of this series had no issue number but instead had it's own sub-title "Wanted Dead or Alive" (issues #2 and #3 were also un-numbered and titled instead - #2 Crime Doesn't Pay -#3 Murder Runs Wild). In stark contrast to issue #2 this book seems to be very elusive in high grade. From what I have found it is usually in less than fine condition. Lou Fine adds a nice cover featuring the Spirit and his sidekick Ebony White. This issue like all of the issues in this run reprint various spirit sections.
The copy in this collection is CGC 6.0 with Off-White pages (better than average page quality which is commonly cream to off-white in mid grade issues from the run.
