Owner's Description

Signed by Mark Waid and Ron Garney. This marks Part 1 of Operation: Rebirth which would feature the Red Skull reaching out to Captain America to help him battle Hitler's conscience trapped in a Cosmic Cube! This marks the beginning of the run by this creative team that would draw me to the character and comics as a whole (the first issue I purchased was #451, and I picked up the Operation: Rebirth arc #445-449 via tpb).

The books from this run, from #445 to #454 are very special to me as they represent the time period in which I grew to like Captain America and comic books! Thanks goes out to Rich Henn for this.
