Deaths of Ethan, Andy, and David

First Appearance of Kal,Eduardo, Gregory, Wesley, Ethan, Carson, David, Andy, Crystal, Mandy, and Negan.

Rick and others have finally reached the Hilltop Colony, home of Paul Monroe. Rick is still uncertain about entering the place, but Paul tries to convince him that they are not bad people. Paul says he could have killed Rick in the van while he was sleeping, but he did not. Paul tells him he just has to trust him. Carl says to Rick that Paul is not a "bad guy". Rick finally agrees with Paul and Carl, and he is ready to go to Hilltop. Paul tells the group that they have to wear their weapons, which makes Rick feel a little better.
Rick and the others are walking along a sidewalk, which leads to Hilltop. They meet guards, Kal, and Eduardo, who open the door. Inside, Hilltop seems to be a town, with hotels, schools, barringtons and street vendors. Paul introduces the group to Gregory, a man who "keeps the trains running on time". Rick speaks with Gregory briefly, before they are interrupted. A resident, Wesley, rushes in and informs Gregory that Ethan has returned.

Ethan, an older man, has indeed returned from a failed mission, where another resident of Hilltop, Crystal, was allegedly taken by a rival group as a captive. Ethan approaches Gregory, saying that their enemies wanted him to deliver a message. When questioned about what the message is, Ethan stabs Gregory, speaking the words "I'm sorry". Rick tackles and kills Ethan instantly by slashing his throat, while the citizens of the colony look on in horror.

With one final glance to the surrounding crowd, Rick breaks the silence, asking the question, "What?"
