Compared to many of the other issues that I found in a 9.8, it was this one that I craved the most. This was the issue that I picked up that made me go back to the 7-11 the next day to pick up others. This is the most iconic cover to me. Illyana bending over backwards with demos protruding from her eyes. Who was this girl anyway.
She was also the character I fell in love with. I was 12 when this first came out and I just loved an older woman, after all, she was the mature age of 15.
In my journey to get these books signed I also had my original graded, regraded, and graded again. I have five signatures on my original because it's value to me is so much more than the money i spend on it. The 9.8 however is just the opposite, but they are both mine, but truth be told, if I had to get rid of one, I would sell the 9.8 and keep the 4.5.
One day i might add Tom Mandrake to the cover but until then...
