This is it. This is the one. It isn't the one because Cable makes his first appearance, who winds up being none other than Nathanial Summers, the baby that first appeared in X-Men #201. It isn't the one because not only does the great art on the outside match the great art on the inside. It is not even the one because it is signed bY Todd McFarlane but it is how I got this book that makes this the one.
I purchased my 9.8 signature series copies of issue 87 signed by Rob Liefeld along with issue #98. Yes, i said Rob Liefeld was on the comic book I bought, but this beauty is signed by Todd McFarlane, and you may ask how does something like that happen??? well I will tell you, especially if you are all the way here reading about this issue many many words later from the MGB and if you are still here, thanks for reading.
It was through the generosity of Shivabali that I have this book. I asked him if we could do an equal sawp. I had yet to have a book signed by Todd yet and I thought it would be great to acquire such a beauty. He said no problem. I brought the copy I had with me when I met him in person for the first time in 2013. This book is such a beautiful specimen of a 9.8, that being how I got it makes it worth more to me than it being a New Mutants Book.
