This one was picked up off of ebay by an old fashion ebay alert. Just happened to have a request to be made aware of when this might show up for bidding and happened to find one decently priced ready to be placed in the ole’ collection. Had seen one other find its way onto ebay but for the price he was asking I could buy this one, get it signed, have it Fast Track Pressed by CCS, and then Fast Track Graded and still had enough for a Coke and a smile.

KEY ISSUE: Cable joins the New Mutants and Rictor recognizes Cables face as his fathers killer which it turns out was actually Stryfe but no one else but Cable knew they were clones/twins.

SO HOW MANY ARE THEIR K???
As of 15 December 2013 there are currently only 22 of this issue having been graded with a grand total of 9 at the coveted 9.8 grade and of those only a single OAK out there owned by none other than Mr. Fleas himself. Gonna have to remedy this one…
*Edit* So as of today 20 May 2015 there are now, 36 of these graded with 17 9.8's with myself, bagofleas, and a mystery guest with the only 3 9.8SS books out there.
ANY PLANS FOR THIS ONE???
Hells yeah there is. Like the rest of the series I plan to go for a Liefeld cover signature on all of them. While I would like to add a Todd or Louise Simonson as well Rob’s the big one for me.
DID YOU MEET YOUR GOAL???
Nope, still have some waiting for this one. Rob’s Facebook doesn’t have him going to any Con’s yet this coming year and he isn’t on the bill for any of the big Con’s as of yet. Who knows maybe he will be a late entry or something to ECCC or something else.
*Edit* Yes Sir it's another one down and done with and my last of the double signature group I believe by Tom DeFalco and series star Rob Liefeld. This one was completed following Amazing Arizona and I want to say Wizard World Iowa or something...
SO HOW DID YOU GET THIS ONE???
This one like a few others was all ebay’s doing. Happened to get an email saying “ALERT New Mutants 89 CGC 9.8 has been added” and it was all down hill from their. Much better price than another one that was added and still is on there.

I’ll have to download this one for my iPad to refresh the old noggin.
