In a world where the sun dares note shine--THE THING FIGHTS ALONE!

Title: "Where the Sun Dares Not Shine!"

Traveling into the subterranean world of the Mole Man seeking a cure for Alicia's blindness, the Thing ends up "saving" Kala, one of the many rulers of the underworld. She tells him that she is to wed the Mole Man, and for saving her, he may grant him whatever he desires.

Meanwhile, the other members of the FF learn that Ben has traveled to the realm of the Mole Man and chase after him. Back in Subterranea, Ben is captured and imprisoned by Kala and the Mole Man who are working together on a plan to set the surface world on fire. Ben manages to escape, but a device on his bars causes an electric aura to appear around him making him look like some other kind of monster, when the other members of the FF spot him, they don't recognize Ben and attack him.
