Warlock goes Mad. Warlock to me was the youngest of the New Mutants. Since he was an alien, we didn't know his proper age, but he was deemed a mutants because of his compassion, something alien among his race. In fact it was the son's job to kill the father, something Warlock couldn't do. This cover depicts Warlock in all his childlike strength. Sam was blasting towards him but was simply knocked away. Even S'Ym watches with a gleam of "me next" in his eyes.
This was signed by Steve Leialoha when I was purchasing many from Rich Henn. I have to admit, if it wasn't for him, by SS days might have started much later.
Up to now, all my issues here are signed. Issue 34 is currently at CGC now waiting...just waiting. The date is 5/18/14. I hope it will retain the grade, but I did purchase a backup.
This signature is larger than issue 32, but blends in with the colorful cover.
I was finally enjoying the artwork, not realizing that art was as diverse as dew on grass.
