Another Liefeld book signed by Liefeld and purchased from Keegan at Comics to Astonish. Purchasing these books so rapidly allowed me to surpass Bagofleas and take over the number one spot for at least one year. This also gave me the award for best Copper set, something i could not do again the next year since my lil bro got addicted to signatures.
I thought the series was finally picking up, the team had their new uniforms. They had a new leader and they had a new focus. Three of the original members are on the cover sporting the new uniforms. Boom Boom's looks a bit short, but I was a teenager and loving the leg. Rob Liefeld was and always will be a favorite of the eighties to me. I have heard some negative things about him throughout the years, but even though I might not have followed him much after X-Force (I wasn't impressed by Youngblood) I still enjoyed his work with Marvel.
