ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Devil to Pay (part 1 of 3)

Prisoners are being set free. The Redeemer is released from Hell; he spreads his wings to enjoy the open sky. On Earth, the persona of Al Simmons wakes from a coma with an immediate urge to pay Nyx a visit. The federal agents who have been watching Spawn since his admittance to the hospital are easily defeated as Spawn breaks out of the hospital. To complicate matters, the Redeemer is bound by oath to protect Nyx. He rushes to her side, but it might be too late – Spawn is close to exacting his revenge.
