NOTES OF INTEREST: This issue includes a short prelude to Spawn: Bloodfeud. This issue also marks the first appearance of Spawn's redesigned costume.

MAIN ISSUE SYNOPSIS: - Appearances

Following his defeat at the hands of the Redeemer, Spawn’s costume is able to slowly recharge, allowing him to invade Heaven’s earthly embassy in New York in order to demand the release of Bobby. Spawn’s threats work and he is able to recover his friend. The Redeemer promptly pursues the escapees but is lost as Spawn uses his powers to transport Bobby and himself away from trouble and back into the alleyways. In the meantime, Chief Banks is growing increasingly nervous about his involvement with Jason Wynn and Billy Kincaid.

SPAWN: BLOODFEUD PRELUDE SYNOPSIS - Preludes and Nocturnes

John kidnaps the Curse and begins to ruthlessly torture him with the intention of learning more about Spawn.
