ISSUE SYNOPSIS: Dead Man Walking

This story is told through the eyes of the unseen vampire Severin, who is awakened from the dead by Mammon’s mysterious ally – a being known as Morana. She tells Severin that Mammon can grant his deepest desires if he completes the unholy mission of passing his curse onto Spawn with a bite.

REFLECTION: This is one of my favorite covers of the entire David Hine run. Just an awesomely creepy painted cover by Brian Haberlin and Geirrod Van Dyke. Since the story is told in first-person, I found it all too fitting that the cover be created from the same perspective.
