Owner's Description

This was a big deal in the DC universe-John Stewart was a new black Super-Hero. DC was more than a bit late (in the civil strife period of the 60's) coming up with such a character-but leave to the socially conscious Denny O'Neil along with Adams to cover appropo social matters in the classic Issue 76-89 run!
