Owner's Description

“He’ll Never Make Me Cry”. Since Colossus fell in love with the alien girl Zsaji on Battleworld (during Secret Wars), he decides to break his relationship with Kitty Pryde whose heart gets broken in the process. Rogue nearly kills herself in the Danger Room after the traumatizing experience she had with Michael Rossi. Meanwhile, Wolverine and Nightcrawler call on Colossus to explain his behavior toward Kitty. In the bar where they gathered, Colossus picks a brawl with the Juggernaut who only wanted a glass of beer and the company of a nice girl. After the fight, Colossus has to face the consequences of his actions. The “nice girl“ turns out to be Selene, who in the meantime left the bar with another customer, only to drain his life-force. In Dallas, Valerie Cooper of the NSA and Raven Darkhölme of the Defense's department of research have a hearty talk about the mutant menace. Valerie isn't aware that Raven is really Mystique, leader of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. An interesting side note is that the real reason behind Peter ending his relationship with Kitty had nothing to do with the dead alien girl: Jim Shooter, at this time editor of the Uncanny X-Men, didn't like the idea of a 19 years old boy sleeping with an underage girl. Which is why he ordered Chris Claremont to put the axe to the love story between the younger X-Men.

This sweet 9.8 came from forumite Steve Nelson.
