Owner's Description

"The Origin of Professor X". 1st appearance of the Juggernaut. The origin of Professor X. With a new threat approaching, Prof. X tells his students to ready themselves and to fortify the mansion. As this menace breaks thru each of their defenses, Xavier explains that it is his step-brother Cain Marko that approaches and he wants to destroy the Professor and everything he cares about. Though not a mutant, Cain has been empowered by the ruby gem of Cytorak and transformed into a human Juggernaut. In the movie X-Men: The Last Stand, the Juggernaut was portrayed as a two bit mutant thug with no ties to the professor. The producers missed out, in my opinion, on an excellent dynamic. One touched upon numerously in the comic.<br /><br />I got this exemplary copy from Brent Moeshlin (Qualitycomix).
