Owner's Description

"Among Us Stalk the Sentinels". 1st Appearance of the Sentinels. Having sent his students on a much needed vacation to recover from their battle with the Juggernaut, Professor Xavier is introduced to a human scientist by the name of Bolivar Trask. Trask is an anti-mutant bigot who in his desire to rid the world of mutants creates giant robots he calls Sentinels. Unfortunately, Trask can not control his monstrosities and they turn against him and everyone else. The Sentinels would turn into the physical embodiement of humanity's bigotry and racism in the X-Men comics. The theme of fighting against prejudice resonates deeply in the heart of the X-Men and their fans.<br /><br />This amazing 9.6 copy came directly from Doug Schmell's personal collection and is currently the top grade copy; one of only ten at this rare grade. Killer copy, should be a 9.8.
