Owner's Description

"Prisoners of the Mysterious Master Mold". 1st appearance of Master Mold. Origin of the Beast. The X-Men attack the Sentinels headquarters in an effort to stop this new threat to mutantkind but the Beast is captured. He is taken to leader of the Sentinels the Master Mold and is interrogated, forcing hime to reveal his origin. Xavier, using his powerful telepathy, leaves his physical body behind to enter the astral plane to stop the Beast from revealing too much. Doing so, the Master Mold detects his presence and attacks Xavier while its Sentinels defeat the X-Men. This copy I purchased from ComicLink. Only two copies graded higher (1 9.6 and 1 9.8)
