Owner's Description

"The Plague of the Locust". 1st appearance of the Locust. The X-Men are confronted by a mad scientist with the name Dr. August Hopper. As his alter ego “the Locust'“he wants to unleash a plague of giant insects upon the world with a machine that he built. You have to love Marvel and their ingenious use of names. Dr Hopper aka Locust, Dr Otto Ocatvious aka Dr. Octopus. Once the plague is unleashed he will create a cure under his true identity of Dr. Hopper so he came become world famous as the man who stopped the insect plague. Unfortunately for him, Jean Grey, no longer a member of the X-Men (she received a letter informing her that her parents wanted her to attend college), attends the college where he used to teach and, after becoming suspicious, she informs the X-Men. After some investigation by Professor Xavier they confront the Locust and his swarms of giants insects and manage to defeat him. Xavier convinces Dr. Hopper to see the error of his ways.<br /><br />Another nice copy won off ebay.
