"Beware the Juggernaut". The return of the Juggernaut!!! It is Bobby Drake’s 18th birthday and his fellow student’s are celebrating with him at the Coffee A Go-Go. Following a dust up with some local bikers, a scuffle they settled without their powers, Scott and Jean open up to each other while Warren and Candy explore their relationship further. While this is happening, back at the mansion Xavier is attempting to cure his stepbrother, Cain Marko, by draining the Juggernaut’s power via a special machine that works through his mental powers. But the machine explodes, rendering the Professor comatose and the Juggernaut awake and newly endowed with Xavier’s mental powers. With these new powers, Juggernaut sets a series of traps for the X-men. Upon their return, they find a mansion dark and empty. Drawn to the basement, the X-Men are taken out one by one until the Juggernaut stands alone triumphant. Before he can destroy the mansion and finish the X-Men, Factor Three, the organization the Professor has been readying to fight, contacts Marko and reveal that they were responsible for the machine and invite him to join their group. Juggernaut agrees and leaves before the X-Men recover. When the X-Men awaken, they take the comatose Xavier to the mansion’s infirmary and plan their next move against the Juggernaut.<br /><br />This issue gets the ball rolling on a plot that has been building since issue 28.
