Owner's Description

“Doomsmith Scenario!” 1st appearance of New X-Men in their regular title. 2nd Appearance of Ororo Munroe (aka Storm), Piotr Rasputin (aka Colossus), Kurt Wagner (aka Nightcrawler) and John Proud star (aka Thunderbird). Early Wolverine appearance. Following the victory of Krakoa the living island (see Giant-Sized X-Men #1), both old and new X-Men return to the X-mansion. But, though things start peaceful, they will not remain so. Sunfire wants no part of the X-Men and the original X-Men also decide to leave to explore a life outside of being a superhero. Only Cyclops remains. The new X-Men train in the Danger Room and Cyclops and Thunderbird have an argument. In Colorado, Count Nefaria and his Ani-Men take over the Valhalla NORAD base and arm the Doomsmith System. With the Avengers busy, the X-Men go to stop him but their ship is blown apart, and the team is falling out of the sky. How will the X-Men survive?
