<br />Jay Ward's Rocky & Bullwinkle started life in the fall of 1959 on ABC as "Rocky and his Friends." In 1961 it moved to NBC in 1961 and was renamed "The Bullwinkle Show." It returned ABC for one final season in 1964, and continues on until today in reruns.<br /><br />The first comics of this duo were called "Rocky & his Friends, published as Four Color #1128 in the fall of 1960. This was followed by a couple of other issues with the same title. Later titles in the early 1960s includes "Rocky and his Fiendish Friends" and "Bullwinkle and Rocky"<br /><br />This copy was distributed by Pacific Gas and Electric. Currently, Pacific Gas and Electric and Southern California Edison have been graded by CGC. A variant with a blank indicia box has also been identified for this Kite Fun Book. <br /><br />One of the copies from the random house files had a Western library received stamp dated 11/20/1970, indicating that this book copyright 1970 was distributed to schools in the spring of 1971. Don Christensen and Kellog Adams are noted as associated with the production of this book.
