Kitty Pryde cries? There's no crying on the X-men. There she is thrown out by the outcasts themselves. The New Mutants only wanted to be X-men and they are telling Kitty that she is not good enough even for them. It reminds me of a snake eating it's own tale. There is something about these early covers that I simply love, maybe it's because it transports me back to a time when all my problems went away simply by opening one of these treasures. Maybe I should reread a few tonight.
