Owner's Description

I purchased this copy as a PGX 9.9. I spent my exact budget on what I like to spend for a New Mutants 9.8 by CGC. I only purchased a PGX copy because at the time I could not find one graded by CGC. I took it to Wizard World in Philadelphia and hoped when I gave it to them to be graded that it would retain its 9.9 grade but was happy enough when it was returned the same day with a 9.8. My collection is still rolling along.

Issues #1 through #13 were my first initial back issues that I collected. They were few and far between. My LCS that I go to now was one of those places that I searched. When you are a teenager there doesn't seem to be many places you can go, but I went and looked anyway. The yellow pages were very useful. I wonder what my parents would have done to me if they only knew, Center City one day, Ventnor, New Jersey the next. Of course this is my 9.8 copy, my originals are slowly going to make it into their own set.
