This was it. This was the one, along with my Longshots (I purchased as back issues) which made me start to buy bags and boards for my comics. Sure I thought that as long as I had them in boxes I would keep them safe. No, this book needed more. The cover was a pissed off white haired senior citizen. He didn't wind up being that old but tell me it doesn't look like he's angry at the four kids in his sites who might have stolen his depends. Liefeld and Mcfarlane, what else Do I have to say. These guys made me rush to the comic book shop and read them before I even got home. It was a forty five minute trip each way and I had to read one or two before I got home. I think I sounded like my dad just then when he tells me about what he went through to get to school. But do you see what this book does to me. I wanted to wait and get my copy graded but the prestige of having the Golden State copy made me fork over my hard earned tips for it. Was it worth it? Hell Yea……. I still have the Golden State copy, but now I have a signature series and felt that would have to take over the spot in my set…now only if I can get the Golden State Copy signed.
