Owner's Description

This issue marks the conclusion of 21st Century Blitz with Cap, Winter Soldier working together to take down the latest "Sleeper" WMD, while Union Jack and Spitfire take on Master Man.

This is an action packed issue with alot of emotion as well. We see Sharon Carter encounter Crossbones and Sin, but her death isn't apart of the plan.

We also see the advantage that Lukin/Red Skull have, as their plan leaves them "smelling like roses".

The issue closes out with the Winter Soldier still being unable to face CAp, Cap leaves the UK and Bucky enlists the aid of Nick Fury. All this, and Lukin comes face to face with CrossBones and Sin!

Also pictured is my reading copy signed by the creative team - Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting and Frank D'Armata.

Personal note:

This by far must be the toughest issue to find in high grade/mint condition. It can also prove to be tough to find because it the issue preceding the Civil War tie-ins. All the copies I've seen in my hands exhibited numerous spine stress lines, and until I got this copy in my hands (purchased already graded), I saw that there indeed exist "near mint+" copies of this issue.

A high mark is also how the issue ends as Brubaker closes the story arc but keeps the overall plan in motion. This Cap run has been an addiction since #1!
