JerseyJoe's Bio
I started reading comic books in sixth grade in 1977. I immediately fell in love with Spider-man. I got a box of silver age Thors, Hulks and Iron Man from my aunt, and not knowing what I was doing, I traded them with my friends for their bronze age Spider-mans. A few years later, I was blown away by Jack Kirby's Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers for Pacific Comics. I have the whole short-lived run and read them over and over. Now I am enjoying collecting and reading many of his bronze age DC and Marvel runs that I just missed as a kid. My main focus in collecting is Spider-man 1-200, Kirby's bronze age series (New Gods, Forever People, Kamandi, OMAC, Demon, Eternals, Black Panther, Devil Dinosaur and Captain Victory) and two golden age comics which I am very fond of T-Man by Quality comics and Charlie Chan by Crestwood/Prize/Charlton.
