Clay's Bio
I was born in Utah. Most of my youth was spent living in Utah and California. My parents had a hard time trying to settle down. They didn't place a lot in education. When I turned 18, I quit school and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1961.
When I joined the Air Force I was really dumb. I was thinking they would make me a pilot. How wrong I was, they made me a pilot alright, pile it here pile it over there. But, I did start to grow up. I spent 16 years in the Air Force.
It was during this time that I started coin collecting, mainly U.S. mint sets. But, it wasn't until 2004 that I really got into coin collecting. All the coins and sets I have started at that time.
