I have been a life long collector of coins, autographs and collectibles. My father and his mother (my grandmother) both were responsible for instilling this passion in me and I thank them both. Over 22 years in the US Army allowed me to pursue these hobbies and now that I am disable veteran as a result of service in the Gulf War they have become an investment as well. I add to all of my collections on a continuous basis as it still brings me much joy and satisfaction after all these years. I have recently been adding to my Lincoln Penny Sets since this is the coin I have the most passion for. I enjoy belonging to the Collector Society because it is a melting pot of interesting individuals as evidenced by the many unique coins that we as collectors pursue. I look forward too reading all of the User Journals because not are they only interesting but sometimes helpful, quirky, funny and yes sometimes sad. We all know that our collecting habits can be greatly influenced by the events in our lives. I hope that all of you experienced the best but if not, we as a society are there too listen.
