The Swift Collection's Bio
Thanks to my general inability to remember passwords, this is the submission portion of my account, you may know me on the boards as TSwift25.
I’ve been actively reading and collecting since I was six years old. I remember taking my allowance and riding my bike to the local newsstand in Palm Beach - Main Street News and buying superhero titles, especially Spider-Man and Superman.
My first job was in middle school doing the pull list and the weekly releases for a comic shop in Lake Park, Florida called the Book Exchange.
I’ve only purchased to keep, and my registry set displays what is nearly entirely my original owner collection amassed through the years from one of three LCS: Past Present Future in West Palm Beach, Book Exchange in Lake Park, and Midtown Comics in Manhattan.
I have been and always will be superhero focused in my collecting, especially Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Superman, and Batman. Aside from the incredible nostalgia such legacy heroes bring, it’s always nice to be reminded of how good can defeat evil, maybe now more than ever before in my lifetime.
