I started buying comics in 1980 (at the age of 9) in small-town Colorado. I remember walking into Mile High Comics in Boulder one day and seeing a 12 cent backissue. Wow, that seemed ancient to me. I was hooked. For a teenager, I had ammassed quite a collection by 1989. My most valued comic was a Batman #8 in Fine. I had 45 or so great golden age superhero books. But then... I sold them all. I was married and struggling for money and took whatever a local dealer would give me. Oh well, such is life. Now, 17 years later, I am trying to piece together a collection of 1950 - 1963 superhero books.
I'm mostly into Batman, the Flash and early Strange Tales ind Tales to Astonish.
