Signed Comic Room Variants

This set contains retailer variant covers from my local comic shop, Comic Room in Hamburg, Germany, signed by the cover artists. But let me back up a bit...

Every now and then, Panini Comics, the license holder of DC Comics and Marvel Comics in Germany, publishes store-exclusive variant covers of their German-language edition comics with assorted comic book shops. These variant covers are published very irregularly (maybe one or two a year) and only for an anniversary issue, a first issue of a miniseries or one-shot. Each participating comic book shop gets a different variant cover, generally limited to just 222 copies. They are only sold raw (unlike US retailer variant covers, were you can often simply preorder them graded 9.8, or even signed and graded).

My local comic shop, Comic Room, has had four such retailer variant covers so far, and all are Batman comics. The only book missing from this set is the German edition of Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade with a variant cover from Paul Pope.

Set Goals
To have all Comic Room retailer variant covers signed by the cover artists and graded.
