This was [/represents] one of my last contacts with Don Donahue.... It was third week of 9th month in 0-0-7. Earlier that year, I had been Extraordinarily Rendered for The SOCIAL SECURITY and INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE fraud of a female.... Don had been having some kind o' Girl Trouble, too.. So, I tried to encourage and uplift him without divulging the TOTAL HORROR of CIVIL, HUMAN, and CONSTITUTIONAL, RIGHTS VIOLATIONS and what REALLY happened to me, and how those violations manifested. (!Dice La Verdad!)
One year later, I was living homeless in Golden Gate Park.... (I lived on $1.50 per meal, per day: Food Stamps:EBT, for years. None would help not even my own family!)
I didn't find out that Don had passed away until last year! By then, I had lost EVERYTHING..
My 'parent'... couldn't throw this comic away; ...5 (X 150 Books) boxes ...'GONE' (!), though. SUPER Sob-Sob-Sob!!!!
Then, It REALLY could've helped me to afford a lawyer to bring a case against THE CITY and COUNTY of San Francisco. (My classmate [Aaron Peskin] was The President of The Board of Supervisors, and would have had to recuse himself because he knew me and knew what happened to me, and thus, could not preside over a Civil Law Suit for in amounts OVER $25,000.00.
He was the third person I wrote to after my weeks of sleep deprivation, starvation &c., &c..).
That's what was going on as this book.. made it.... too.

Also, here is what Jay Kennedy wrote in his Official Underground And Newave Comix Price Guide for: "2301. Zap Comix #8 (Aug.) 1975, Print Mint (830 Folger Ave Berkeley CA 94710) for Apex Novelties (S.F. CA), 6 3/4"x9 3/4", $.75, 52 pages, Cover: glossy, Guts: newsprint, artists: Robert Crumb 1,2+, 3-13, 21, Gilbert Shelton 2+, 44-47, S. Clay Wilson 2+, 13-20, 26, 27, 48, Robert Williams 2+, 22-25, 28-33, Victor Moscoso 2+, 49-52, Spain Rodriguez 2+, 34-43. As of April 1982 there are 4 printings for a total of 70,000 copies. Most of these printings are indinguishable, one from the next, so only the detectable variants are listed, preserving what sequence is known. 1st has a $.75, 2nd has a $1.00 cover price. - There.
I was really lucky to get this book, and have it, somehow, survive alongside me....
And now, it is all the work I can do to have this.. (AND THE OTHERS THROUGHOUT) registered, and.. corner-stoned into these very large baccarats, like.. glass coffins, to crack open in case of emergency, OR to use as wagers, in games, as an elf machine-trading in The Dome Bazaar.

What a strange, and unexpected surprise came in the mail Saturday, 25 Aug, 2012! Why was CGC sending ME an envelope? What could it be? The envelope was WAY too thin to contain anything but documents, and.. contained therein was.. a Registry Award certificate for "...outstanding achievement....", for the top-ranked set for this book!
Thank you SO MUCH CGC, and CGCCS for The Award and The 2012 Best In Set Type certificate for this comic book.. ..from Don Donahue! = and this Berkeley Boy from Rainbow House; it really means alot to me.
