At 17:21, on 16 December, 1986,
I bought a copy of R CRUMB'S MOTOR CITY COMICS (1st edition)..
Heck! I, even, got a discount, but the catch is..
Later, that same day
(i.e., 12-16-86), I bought THIS
FEDS 'N' HEADS COMICS (1st edition)
by GILBERT SHELTON
at 18:58....
I don't think I had enough for both books..
So, I spent the pocket money
on the 'MOTOR CITY',
and
came back for this:
I thought I bought this from Rory Root at The Best of Two Worlds.
I had been eyeing one there,
in Immaculate!, for $400.
I thought that I paid that for this,
but
this is my only copy of FEDS "N" HEADS and I found my original receipt in the two weeks past.
This copy I bought from Comics & Comix, in Berkeley, Ca., on December 16th, 1986, at 18:58 (i.e., 6:58P).
It is most likely that this was sold to me by either STEVE MONCUSE,
or PETER GRUBBS, maybe both.
Bubba Reynolds worked the reg. downstairs.. for the most part.
My baby turns 26 this year, and
I had just turned twenty-three, ~,
when I went into COMICS & COMIX twice
that night....
