SET DETAILS
Owner's Description
The copy of Detective Comics 456 finally reached this set on December 21, 2013!
Detective Comics 456 has another one of those gorgeous black covers that are found throughout the Detective Comics 401 to 500 run with the magnificent Ernie Chan delivering yet more superb, outstanding, magnificent cover art. The stories in this issue are a great read (yes, I'm biased as I find all the stories in this run to be very enjoyable reading since, of course, I first read them as a child who simply loved comic books).
As I wrote in my description for Detective Comics 455: "It has been a (five-) six-year ordeal, thus far, to find a CGC graded copy of Detective Comics 456. Hopefully, I'll find one before the year (2012; 2013) 2014 ends."
Thankfully, 2014 was the year I found the CGC graded copy of Detective comics 456!
This book is a keeper until I am able to either purchase a CGC graded 9.8 copy of this issue or submit a copy of this issue from my original owner or since purchased copies that will, based on my grading of it, receive a 9.8 (or higher) grade from the folks at CGC.
I hope you enjoy the scans of this book because I most certainly do.
[I use the comments for this issue to celebrate the applicable holiday season.
Oh, and happy holidays (2013) 2014!]
