There was no direct meeting between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in this issue. The cover depicted a holographic recording of Darth Vader. This issue provided the true origin of Shira Brie as an Imperial Spy. It also showed that Shira Brie survived being shot down following the events of issue 61.
