I missed the initial offering. I was out of town for a few days on a personal matter. I returned and contacted jerry3204 and asked if they could resend the offer. They graciously did and that’s how I ended up with this beautiful copy.

I initially found “White Widow” through “Kickstarter.” I was intrigued and bought into the idea of supporting an independent comic (first time supporting an event such as this). Regrettably, there’s no guarantee of them keeping their promise of what they offer to do for your support or how long it will take to deliver on their promises. Invest at your own peril. Twice, I donated. And both times regretted the effort. It took over a year to receive my first order. Many emails and inquiries were sent—they were ignored. No replies were received back. I kept pestering them until I reckon, they decided to send out my 1st order.

I love the comics. I support their efforts. But their continuous unwillingness to meet their obligation to their supporters has made me look to the secondary market for the copies I want.

My favorites of all the variants are the “Metal” covers. They are so unusual and different. I prefer the 1st prints over the 2nd prints. I am working on collecting the non-graded copies since they are extremely hard and difficult to find graded (If an opportunity comes along and the price is right I will buy the graded copy).

This is not my first purchase of a CGC Graded comic of “White Widow,” I do have others. This is just the 1st opportunity I found to post one to my set.

I do believe it will be near impossible for anyone to put together a complete set. I know, with my shoe-string budget, getting the copies I truly want will be difficult and hard. But then, the “chase” is what makes it so fun and worthwhile in my opinion.
