This was my first comic. How lucky was I as a kid to decades later find out that my first comic was, in fact one of the best, if not the best Superman story of all time? I still have the actual issue that my mom had gotten me off the racks of a local Jewel/Osco. I keep it in the back of the bag that holds this slab so that when I look at the slab, I can pull the raw copy out and read through it. I have four copies of this book - the original copy I landed as a kid back in 1985, a slab I submitted that came back a 9.6, and two 9.8's - this newsstand and a DM edition. Such a great book. It's a renowned story but I wish every collector knew about this book - there should be a copy of this in every collection, maybe along with Action Comics #775.
