Owner's Description

This image really shows how difficult this fight is going to be for Superman. The fact that he has to put his entire body into it and Doomsday is taking it definitely shows that this foe is unlike any other Superman has faced, particularly in sheer physical hardiness.

This book replaced one of the original Universal 9.8's that I had when I started the work on this set. That first copy stayed in my Base Set until I got it to 100 percent completion and was just short two 9.8’s. I love this cover and jumped at the chance to own this Signature Series book when the opportunity arose, I reholdered this book in December 2020.

This Signature Series 9.8 was eventually outdone by the (then) lone 9.9 copy of this book... which has its own slot in this Custom Set!
