Favorite line and some thoughts:
"Here's instant social adjustment, scum! Let justice be done!"
-Justice Peace
The splash that opens this image--the coronation of Balder--is truly beautiful. Excellent pencilling by Sal, with subtle inks by someone named Albret Blevinson (a pseudonym for Bret Blevins, no doubt) that scan as much less intrusive than the work by Isherwood on the previous issue. Sal is shining here, no pun intended.
Great to see Balder flanked by Odin's wolves and one remaining raven. Balder knows he is a steward and has humbly ordered up an auxiliary throne.
What Thor says to Sif as he prepares to depart for Midgard we never learn; a rather fitting end to their complicated relationship in Walt's run.
Justice Peace, of course, is a parody of Judge Dredd. His black and white approach to issues moral and ethical is signaled by the red and green lights on the front of his scooter. He is either full "go" or full "stop," with no time for any ambiguities.
Finally, we find Hela about to unleash her revenge on Thor, driving us ever nearer to the epic Thor 380.
