I added this book at a time when I hadn't upgraded a book in awhile and was still on the hunt for one last 9.8 for this set. This popped up on eBay one evening before going to bed for a very reasonable price. I already had two Universal 9.8's of this book. My first copy I had submitted myself and it was the only 9.8 from a 20 book submission! I called that one the sole survivor. That book now has it's own slot in my larger Custom Set and I talk about what it felt like receiving only a single 9.8 out of 20 books, and what I learned from it. Go check it out in that set!
In June 2022 I had a second copy of this book that I submitted also receive a 9.8! That book became the sixth 9.8 to enter the census. Unlike the SOLE SURVIVOR the second book was a member of a 15 book submission where I received 7 9.8's... not too bad, and pretty fair for the books. I included a picture of all three of my 9.8's in the second picture slot... it's nice to see the SOLE SURVIVOR making friends!
I got the second 9.8 from one of the nine sealed Funeral for a Friend 9 issue Limited Collector's Sets I picked up while searching for Superman 76 second printing... nice!
