Dare I say That Green Lantern was one of the first Comic books I picked up from DC. This does not count the numerous Batman and Superman comics I had from God knows where, but it was Green Lantern #176 That I took of the Magazine rack at the local 7-11. It was the day after I picked up the New Mutants issue 15. I didn't follow the series like I did many others, but Hal Jordan became one of my favorites. I always looked out for a good story. This issue of Green lantern was released a little before X-Men #1 touting the original Man who Mastered magnetism. Poor Magneto doomed to be second best.
