Dick Sprang drew the Ace of Knaves on the cover, while Howard Sherman supplied interior art for the Batman story. A well-executed cover featuring the King and Queen of Spades firing those smokin' Thompson submachine guns, a weapon made infamous during the prohibition era when gangsters like Al Capone and outlaws such as John Dillinger dominated headlines in America.
